74th Independence Day
Freedom is not a mere matter of political decision or new constitutions....it is of the mind and heart. If the mind narrows itself and is befogged with a heart full of bitterness and hatred, freedom is absent.
-Jawaharlal Nehru
Mark these words because we should be extremely proud to say that we live in an Independent country not only democratically but also by the wonderful people our motherland treasures. You'd be wondering why, but just think of that plane crash in our state and the immense contribution of the native people to rescue the breathes of fellow beings by risking their own lives. The way our health workers, police department and each person contributing and struggling in their own ways to uphold our country during this devastating epidemic is simply another feather to the crown. This should definitely be a milestone in our patriotic hearts as we try to buttress and respect the lives of each person in trouble.
It is almost 73 years since India freed itself from the clutches of the British and became independent. On August 15, we will celebrate 73 years of India's independence which was won with sweat, blood, and lives in the year 1947. On this day, let's travel back in time and ignite the patriot in us.The tireless and selfless struggle under the guidance of our leaders like Jawahar Lal Nehru, Subhash Chandra Bose, Mahatma Gandhi, Chandra Shekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh and many more gifted us the independence that we live today. Some of these leaders chose the path of violence while the others chose non-violence. But the ultimate aim was to drive out the Britishers from our country. And on 15th August 1947, the long-awaited dream came true.
To relive the moment and to enjoy the spirit of freedom and independence we celebrate Independence Day. Another reason is to remember the sacrifices and lives we have lost in the resultant struggle. Besides, it reminds us that this freedom that we enjoy is earned the hard way.Apart from that, the celebration wakes up the patriot inside us. Along with celebration, the young generation is acquainted with the struggles of the people who lived at that time.
To look after the independent country they gifted us and to stay grateful for the lives they laid down so that our country could breath freedom should be our cherished evergreen responsibility. The hard work and sincerity of our health workers and all other people who risk their lives for us is really something to be highlighted on this Independence day and it is our small efforts to take all the precautions against the pandemic and to stay home as much as possible that actually pays off to the sacrifice they make.
With freedom in our minds,
patriotism in our hearts,
pride in our words,
memories incarnated in our souls,
and faith in each breath,
🇮🇳HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY🇮🇳
